Suhail bin Butti Attends University of Sharjah’s Training Sessions Ahead of the ‘Universities World Cup’

H.E. Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Al Maktoum, Assistant Undersecretary of the Sports Development and Competitiveness Sector at the Ministry of Sports and President of the UAE Sports Federation for School and University Education Institutions, attended the training sessions of the University of Sharjah’s team.

The team is preparing to participate in the 2025 FISU World Cup Football, scheduled in Dalian, China, from September 17 to 28.

During his visit, His Excellency met with the team members, as well as the technical and administrative staff, to review the preparations of the UAE’s representative in this global event. The tournament brings together representatives from 16 countries worldwide to compete over the course of a week.

His Excellency urged the players to exert their utmost efforts to achieve honorable results while embodying the sportsmanship that characterizes the youth of the UAE.
